Tuna's path to jewelry artistry was paved with diverse experiences. She honed her understanding of aesthetics and marketing while studying Fashion Design at UCLA. Her passion for gems led her to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), where she emerged a certified gemologist, her eyes now trained to discern the exceptional from the exquisite.

A Beacon of Diamond Expertise:

Tuna's journey led her to the helm of one of the world's largest diamond laboratories, EGL, where she served as the Lab Manager for an impressive two decades. Her tenure was marked by an unyielding commitment to the intricacies of diamonds, setting the stage for her illustrious career.

 

The Birth of Britara:

With her expertise and an uncanny understanding of the finest diamonds, Tuna began crafting bespoke designs for friends and family. Demand surged, as each piece bore the unmistakable mark of Tuna's unique aesthetic. In 2010, she realized her vision, founding Britara—a tribute to her daughters, Briana and Tara, who had always brought her a touch of serendipity.
